We are booked at the Kitty Lake Cabin for a couple nights in September. Question is about food. Does anyone have insight as to whether it should still be hung and kept outside or OK to keep inside. We will likely be away for day trips leaving the cabin unattended for hours at a time. Just interested in various thoughts on this. Thanks.

Hang it for sure.
Doesn't matter if you hang it inside or outside, but definitely hang it.
Hang outside for obvious reasons, but if you opt to keep it in the cabin, hang it there on a bit of rope from a rafter or beam. The cabins have mice (all cabins, some much worse than others), lots of mice, and they WILL chew through your stuff and/or food if you leave the cabin unattended or overnight and don't put your stuff away properly.
They may also run across you at night. Sucks, but it happens.
