Need some advice about going into the Galipo Lakes area

I'd like to head into the Galipo Lakes area west of Welcome Lake. Has anyone been in there? What would the water flow be like in Spring? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thinking of accessing thru either Hay or Rock Lakes.

I did that area mid-summer in a season when water levels were very low, and we didn't have any major issues. I don't think you should have any problems.

Here's a trip report from 2012.  Did it in August and no issues with water levels.   http://algonquinvoyageur.blogspot.ca/p/2013-cache-mcgarvey-south-galipo-louisa.html
