Tim to Rosebary

Looking at doing a trip to Rosebary in early June (6th to the 9th).

Can anyone tell me what the Tim R. is typically like that time or year?

Thanks

Hahaha, not sure what the water levels are like but I'll tell you when I see you!  I'm heading the same way just ahead of you - leaving June 4.

Things can change pretty drastically year to year, but you should be fine at that time. If water levels are close to what they were last year, definitely good to go. You will have a couple beaver dams to pullover, but nothing difficult. Take a bug jacket or head net.

Re: Tim to Rosebary

I did this trip last year. My companions and I did a one night in and out trip July 15-16th.
From my understanding water levels were higher last year than normal, but we were able to run all but 1 (1 for sure, maybe 2) beaver dams.

There were many dams that were WELL below the surface of the water. It was an easy go.
Seems like it would change year over year.

Enjoy your trip, I had alot of fun on that trip.  Great moose sightings where the Tim enters Rosebary.

Re: Tim to Rosebary

Sounds good!  Thank you!

Bug jackets will be coming for sure!

Faitzy,  lol! Maybe we will cross paths then. It’ll be my 12 year old son (he’s a backcountry veteran already) and I in our red and white kipawa.
