Ruins on portrage in the South Madawaska River (from Clydegale)

Jeff's map has a symbol for ruins on the first long portage on the south Madawaska river out of Clydegale lake. I was wondering if anyone has seen them?

I was there last weekend, but I only walked about half the portage and never saw them...by that point it was getting late, so we decided to head back to camp.

Just curious about whats there. I always try and visit ruins that are listed!

Yes. I was the one in 2013 who marked it on my GPS for Jeffrey to add to his map.

It must have been an old cabin or lumber camp - a few bunks and spring cots, along with old tins and relics. Nothing too intense (the ruins at the south end of clydegale are cooler) but still pretty neat.

Thanks for the reply! Sounds like a cool area to explore, too bad we didn't end up walking down that far.
