Not West Harry.

However this route and the route through West Harry do have a common element.

Not Minnow or Tim.

Tim is closest so far.

No.

But I am leaving one body of water and entering another.

Tripper you're getting closer.

Not Coralroot but definitely a good guess. Looks very similar.

I've just left one Waterbody and am about to enter another. I didn't have to take a portage even though there is one available. I doubt anyone ever has to use the portage near here and my guess is eventually it will be decomissioned. Must have been for a blockage in the past as there is zero obstruction here now.

You got it - just in the reverse direction.

This photo is looking out towards Loughrin Lake, after paddling the narrow channel down from Lawren Harris Lake.

You're up, Tripper!

Hey Tripper -

I've only been through here once - on September 5th, 2016. At that time, this section was completely clear. I wondered to myself why there was every a portage there to begin with. I figured a log jam, but at the same time there wasn't a log in sight - I didnt even have to work my way over submerged logs as far as I can recall - so I checked my GPS tracks and it appears I continued unobstructed from L.H. to Loughrin.

This High-Res sat photos shows the log jam at P20 has completely broken up:

Off topic but Peek, what's your "go to" source for Algonquin satellite imagery?
