    Sasquatch sighting from 2002 .. NOT!

    I was just going through some old canoe trip photos from back in 2002 and found this "sasquatch wanna-be".

    For years it was placed on its stump by a cottager on the east side of the channel between Rock Lake and the access point.

    Sad to say for the last few years it has been absent. For many years prior it served as a source of humour to canoeists returning from the backcountry.

      there was a stuffed green turtle on a rock along that stretch of the river many moons ago too.
        made me chuckle,,

    Ahh I think I remember that from maybe my first year of canoeing? Pretty funny none-the-less,
