I've got a Helinox Chair One. Found out on another thread somewhere that the plastic golf balls with all the holes in them that you can buy at the dollar store, are good for putting on the feet of the chair to stop you sinking on soft soil. Works. But I like the birch bark idea better. So simple. thanks for posting. Used the chair One about ten nights in total. Still in perfect shape. Would never bring it on a solo trip, but for trips with friends, it's nice to sit side by side.
