Good Morning,
Last I went to Basin Lake back in 2017. The road was barely passable for a car (very rutted).
Has that road been graded in the last 9 years? We are looking at going again. Just seeing if anyone has any updates
Thanks

The road can change over the course of the seasons for sure but generally speaking it is passable in a car. I was there last fall and zero issues. They log in the area so they do a pretty good job of keeping the road in at least decent condition.

Thanks! Ya the when I was there last the road from the Cabin to the Access Point was in rough condition!
We will give it a shot!

Oh ya the road to actual Basin Lake from the cabin is really rough - sorry I was referring to Basin Depot Rd in general. It's doable but I have a truck so it's not too bad

I've been going there on and off for the last decade. As of last winter the road to the access point had not been maintained in any way in years. If you have a car with low clearance it is possible you will bottom out. The ruts are pretty deep.
