Hmmm, there's a portage route that would take you north from Parkside Bay back to West Bay on Smoke Lake. I've never taken, but the 2nd picture reminds me of Parkside Bay.

No to Parkside Bay. Similar in latitude but 27m lower in relation to sea level.
