the campsite photo is a neat spot,, i stopped by there for a coffee one morning ,,
Couple of years ago, the night before a trip, watched a "Brent Run" video on YouTube. Darren and Mike did the Brent Run in 22 hours and 56 minutes. Next morning portaging up Unicorn Hill pass by a gentleman going down Unicorn and asked where he was coming from... he replied Canoe Lake! Stopped at the campsite in the pic. From the campsite "trolled" the Brent Run gentleman for his name and start time as he was returning to Canoe Lake. Believe he said his name was Sebastian. He commented that he wanted a break from the sun. Coincidentally a few days later, on the same trip, travelling down the Crow met Darren coming upstream. Recognized him from his YouTube video. We briefly chatted about Sebastian in passing. Would love to find Sebastian's time completing the Brent Run?

Yes, campsite at the Catfish narrows is the location. You're up! Love your website.
Thank you for your kind comment. I feel a little embarrassed at the current state of the website, since the Bushlog section hasn't had substantive new material added in a long time. But Diana and I have reached an age where it's hard for us to get out and do anything interesting anymore.
Anyway, enough moaning, I will be posting a photo imminently.

okay so I was bored.
I saw your most recent WIA guess at Woodcock lake, which was right! And though where the eff is Woodcock lake? Which lead my down a short rabbit hole leading to this post.
The guy you passed was Seb Cou. He now holds the Brent run record (solo or tandem) 22 hours 43 minutes!

Thank you so much for the information on Seb's time! Appreciate and enjoy your videos and trip reports. "Scott where are we", "Skinny dip pool" Just came back from a trip and spent a morning on Woodcock.
