You are correct. It is the small island in the west end of Little Trout looking to the south. I actually caught (and released) a nice Brook Trout just after taking this. It's your turn now.

One of my new favourite lakes and sites by the way.

Never seems to be busy... was there on a weekend in the summer and saw no one else for 2 days. Mine was the only car in the parking lot.
