I don't know if you got it or not Shawn, but that is a really good guess.  When I returned via Mink a few years ago, it is just possible that I portaged on the opposite side of the landing you are guessing and went down the abandoned rail bed where you aren't supposed to portage so probably that never happened even though it is flat and arrow straight and so very tempting but ummmm well anyway, that view sure looks right.
