Is that the island site on Laurel?

If you have never experienced a cabin before I would still give it a go. It is a very cool experience to stay in one in the middle of the park. Weather becomes a non factor and to have the option of a woodstove to get it nice and cozy is great! No setup or takedown, just dishes and a quick clean before you leave. Just be prepared to do some sweeping and general cleanup when you arrive. But all in all I think you would still enjoy the experience.

I think it would be very doable, as people have said above there are many factors to consider but I believe if you are a very experienced paddler you would make it. We have paddled from the downstream end of the high falls portage to the last site before Cedar lake (downstream) and could have easily made it out to Cedar put in. Again as said above it would be a long day but if you are a very experienced paddler I am sure you have had a few of those!

Equipment » Experience with hood tie down loops? » 4/05/2022 7:30 am

I use the loops quite often for 3 plus hour drives on rough roads. Cant say I have had any issues whatsoever with them. A great option even if you do have tiedown spots on your vehicle. That way you dont have to crawl in the mud!
