The photo gives me Presto lake to Marshy lake vibes (launching on to Marshy Lake) but there isn't enough log jam to clog things up, nor are there tears on the camera lens.

Is that the lone campsite on Little Misty?

It's not Dahina, Little Coon, nor Kawa.
The portage across the way in the photograph is not for the weak hearted.

It isn't Upper Mohawk. Not sure where Upper Mohawk is!
This lake has no campsites.

It isn't Blowdown.
It's been a while since I've seen a Friends of Algonquin map, but I believe this lake is on a 'regular maintenance' route.

Here's another portage landing with a dock, featuring @Maseo trying not to realize the next portage is very close.
What lake have we reached, here?

Very cool!  I've never had much luck in the wildlife spotting department...

Looks like the portage put in for the wetland area one has to cross to get to the 270m portage onto Carcajou Lake.  (The end of the 1110m + 530m portage from Greenleaf)

Evan is correct - this island is on Gull Lake.  I really liked that lake, wish I had stayed a little longer than just passing through!

Big George is getting closer to the neighbourhood. If you find yourself on this lake you spent some time walking uphill.

It isn't Cranebill.
This lake is further east than all guesses so far.

It's not Sunbeam.
This lake almost certainly sees far less traffic than Sunbeam, and has a single marked campsite.

This island is not on Ralph Bice, Little Island, nor North Tea. This is north of Highway 60.
