Thank you for your help and yes we go fishing for trout in May. Sorry for the confusion. I've never bass fished in the park thats why I'm looking for some direction in that area for a July trip when season opens. I'll take a look at these lakes and hopefully next year we're not locked down again for our annual May trout trip. Cheers

Could anyone lead me to a good area in park for bass fishing. We always go in May and like everyone else we are changing plans to a July trip. I know there's great options in southern Ontario but something about getting into Algonquin. Thank you

Is this trip possible with us fishing all the way. We're all experienced paddlers and have done long distances in summer just not in trout season where we dont want to pass up opportunities to fish.
Was thinking Misty L, Big Trout L, Burntroot L and Catfish L the last night

Thank you PAPaddler and TripperMike. Those are some great options as well. Ive done the Longer Lake basecamp a few times as well as the Catfish and Radiant Lake. Maybe Big Crow or Misty this year. Ive always heard Misty isnt great fishing though. I havent been in that area in a while though so might check it out. Thank you for your help!

Looking for some recommendations for a 4 day trip in May. Looking to hopefully fish some rapids and make a basecamp for a few nights. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We usually do a longer ice-out trip so just trying to scale it back a bit. Thank you!
