    Rain-X on Canoe Hulls

    Has anyone tried using Rain-X on their canoe hull?

    From what I've found in my research, there is little to no benefit from waxing, but nothing on Rain-X.
    Thoughts?

    Thought about trying this a bunch...then thought about the chemicals wearing off the boat and into the water.

    Rain-X will make rain bead up on the surface of the canoe so it looks nice on your car.
