    Where is this? I chose to launch the canoe for 15 m travel here rather than get my feet wet at the dam. It's in the middle of a well-used portage.

    Canada Jay to Hawkins Lake portage. I did the same thing. Although, my feet were already soaked from the Sunbeam/Canada Jay portage that was partially submerged in places.

    You got it...the ThreePonds area between those two lakes. Next time I post on this thread, i will just put a close-up of a tree and you guys will still get it.
