Finding Carl WIlson

HI All,

I've got a new trip post up over at All of Algonquin. It covers the last couple of days of my six days in the Park back in August. This one was a short loop up to Carl Wilson Lake and back with a couple of buddies. I have to admit, I was a bit surprised by the elevation change on some of those portages. My buddies were tandem carrying the canoe on their turns and there were points where the guy in the back would have his arms straight up above his head trying to keep the boat level. It looked uncomfortable. Fortunately, Carl Wilson was kinda awesome, so well worth the effort.

Have a great weekend,

Re: Finding Carl WIlson

I've been on Carl Wilson but I reached it out of Kiosk, so I've never been through any of the portages on your route. It sounds like that's for the best!

As always, your writing style makes for a very fun read.
