best viewing ( so i been told by my people) is thus aug 11 to 13th. north eastern sky,,, although the weather looks sketchy,
great time to be in da park

Arriving Sunday the 14th but it should continue for a few nights afterwards. It's supposed to be a good show this year so I hope the moon cooperates. So excited!

Unfortunately, the nearly full moon will make viewing relatively poor this year. The moon will look great but not as many meteors will be visible as with a new moon.

Sunday night, 13th skies were clear with good viewing, past the peak it seems but there were still some good meteors visible to the NE about 10-11 PM, before the moon rose.
