My standard guess:  on route to McCraney.

It's like when we used to play Trivial Pursuit, and I would get a question about American football.  My answer was always "Jim Brown".  I figured I would eventually be right!

Not Queer to Tim.. but as an aside.. screw that portage. The length is fine but it's just UP then DOWN then UP then DOWN then UP.. you get the idea.

Actually looking at the new map, the elevation profile for that portage is painfully accurate.
