Yessir. Head Lake it was! Awesome site.

We were there in 2018 during a fire ban year. We made extensive use of the falls; swimming across from our site to the falls.

I've never stayed at that site, but a few years back I went to check out the falls and noticed smoke coming from the site. Sure enough the previous occupants didn't fully extinguish their fire. I took care of it and then spent some time admiring the view. The falls were much bigger when I saw them. It is a nice spot and would be a shame if it was lost to careless campers!
