Nicely done!  Hopefully the neighbor's lawn mower doesn't chuck stones through the fence.  I was thinking it looks like it might be a bit of a pill to get the canoe over that last 2x4, but maybe not, and it certainly fits the space well. It should be pretty straightforward to cover for winter if you want.

I've always kept my canoes in the garage, on overly-complicated pulley systems from which I get no mechanical advantage (which is why I use a winch).  It keeps the boats out of weather and out of the way, and I can get them on the car pretty quickly.
