if you're still looking - check with Chris and Robin @ Algonquin Basecamp. He has a fleet of 16', 17' and 18'-5" ultralight kevlar Souris River boats (the Quetico 17). I am pretty sure he sells off the "extra used" ones t the end of the season.

I was at Basecamp a few weeks ago and Chris showed me a couple that he would sell, they looked pretty decent and a fare price. I would definitely give him a call.
