yellowcanoe is correct however...this was taken at the portage to Booth looking back towards Kitty.
yellowcanoe, you've guessed both of my recent pics almost immediately...it would appear that we share some of the same canoe routes. You're up!

I didn't recognize it, and yet I took a picture at that same spot just last Spring. The water level difference is amazing. Here's that same view on May 9th last year:

Wow...yeah that's quite the difference. My pic was taken over the Thanksgiving long weekend back in Oct.'13...I believe it got up to around 19C that day...it was absolutely beautiful and zero wind at all that day.
