Not much planning left to do, just excited for this weekend's trip.  Weather looks great, just got skid plates installed on my canoe in the nick of time, looks like the island campsites have reopened (?) and most importantly, my tripping partner for the weekend will be my just turned 6yr old son for our first duo trip into Algonquin!

If anyone is up there we'll be in the green Trailhead Canoes Bob's Special, trolling the lake for big ones until our "motor" gives out . . .
