Hey everyone,
Thanks for your feedback on my previous post. I think I've decided to do Wendigo Lake to Shoel Lake in Algonquin. August fishing has always been good in Radiant despite the parasites in them - just pick them out. However, I was wondering if anyone knows if the stream between North Depot and Clamshell would be passable in August with exception of the portages?
Is there access to Radiant Lake from Shoel? Some satellite views seem to show it as pretty boggy.

I did a trip through there a couple Augusts ago and had no issue with low water. And yes, you can easily paddle from Shoal through to Radiant.
