So, I’m wading into the market for a new canoe. This will
Be my fifth canoe, but my first new one in over a decade. Prices have gone up pretty substantially since my last purchase.

I’m looking at a carbon boat, light as possible in the 16-17 foot range. Likely a swift keewaydin or something along those lines.

So, my question is for anyone that has bought one recently do you have advice on finding/negotiating the best price. I know the wholesale cost on canoes is dramatically lower than retail price but I have no idea how much swift/nova/souris etc are willing to negotiate.
