I really thought someone would recognize the AFA camp located near one of the campsites on the lake in the first photo.   The first photo is the start of a low maintenance portage.   The lake also has two other regular maintenance portages.

You got it!   The photo was taken last summer when our group day hiked the trail from Shirley to Bridle Lake.   We were actually camped at the campsite close to the AFA camp though the photo I used was taken on a different trip.  Camping on Bridle is on my todo list!

I haven't done that little stretch from Farm to Shirley yet - but I've heard good things about Bridle.

There's a new WiA up, lets keep going with that one
