    RCShevalier has it and I figured it would go quickly!  The meadow, beach launch and sun were all a nice spirit lifter as the day before we were wind bound on Maple from those Ottawa area tornados.

    Tripper mike. Curious...Was that June 1st you were wind trapped on maple creek?  My 2 kids and I were also trapped by wind top of maple coming back to kiosk on Sunday June 1st. Crazy white caps and wind. Too unsafe to paddle. So one more night and overnight the temp dropped and it was sleet/snow/rain at 6am the next morning. Miserable morning.  curse of winds out of kiosk proved themselves that weekend!
