It's like a really long walk in the woods, may be 15-20km. Do you mean something else - perhaps Longer or Merchant in stead of Daisy?

Well i mean what is the portage like? Is it in good condition? is it steep? Is a tough 1400m or is it fairly easy?
Thread StarterLakes names are confused. Daisy lake is next to Ralph Bice, which is 2 travel days away from Big Trout.

Sorry that was a typoin the thread title. I meant the protage from Ralph Bice to Daisy.

It’s been a couple of years, but I remember it feeling longer than I expected. I took a look at my trip report from back then and apparently there are some elevation changes that help with that feeling. That being said, it wasn’t terrible
