'No Fly Zone' Permethrin soaked clothing at Mark's

Just went to my local Mark's to get some tall socks to tuck my work pants into for working in the yard (as a tick-barrier). When I explained to the sales-lady why I was looking for the tallest socks, she told me their 'No Fly Zone' items would probably be on sale in a week or so. She led me over to the 'No Fly Zone' rack and I checked over the items & prices. They are soaked in 1/2% permethrin and are claimed good for 70 washes. They aren't cheap, but I'll be checking back in a week or so to check out the sale prices.

You can view their two pages of 'No Fly Zone' products at https://www.marks.com/en/product-list.html?#q=no+fly+zone&lvp=13 .

There's a good reference online at https://canadianrockiestrailguide.com/permethrin-treated-clothing-arrives-in-canada/

However, one comment on that page leaves me with a concern that the 'No Fly Zone' products may have an inner second layer of shield fabric and thereby be warmer that expected.

Has anyone had firsthand experience with 'No Fly Zone' shirts and/or slacks?
