    Only two; Is there a way to display "recent" as the opening page? and the green on green is a little hard to read on a tablet or lap top

    As far as I can tell, the opening page's layout cannot be altered to that degree. Besides, I'm not sure I'd want to do that. Down at the opening page's bottom-left corner is a link that'll bring up the most recent posts .. just 1 click away.

    As for the text's colour and size, I've just darkened it a couple of shades and enlarged it by a couple of points. Yes, it looks better!
