Salted minnows

Does anyone have a solid answer on whether or not salted minnows are allowed in the park? I've been reading a lot of varying opinions on this. Thanks in advance.

Re: Salted minnows

It's not a matter of opinion, they are allowed in the park. Except in a select few trophy brookie lakes that have a ban on organic bait. The park-wide ban is on LIVE baitfish, not salted.

Re: Salted minnows

How do you guys normally fish salted minnows? Tipped on the end of a spoon? Hooked on a small bait hook?

Re: Salted minnows

Good, did all my homework. Bought the fishes of Algonquin book last time in, matched minnow species to the lake I'm going to next week by distribution.  This was my interpretation of the regulations as well, just seeing if I'm missing anything.

Looks like weather might be challenging.  Least the black flies won't be out lol. Thanks for the timely replies gentlemen.
