I was looking for a particular spot - takeout for the Turcotte Lake portage - but didn't specify that in my post. Mr. 'Algonquin Lakes' has the right creek, at least, so Drew, you're up next.
(And Knox, I'm with you - love the creeks.  Flow is starting to increase and things are slowly opening up, so here's to a good season in the Park.)

A nice sunny day and enough wind to keep the bugs away.  Where is this?  (I know a few forum members have been here.)

Rob, the fall colours (and the weather)  certainly suggested your Petawawa trip last fall, and the broken trees on the right were what made me think of Coveo Lake.  The matching skyline in this shot I took in 2018 confirmed that first impression.

I'll get a new WIA up soon.

+1 for Altitude Sports - quality merchandise and excellent service.
When I first ordered from them their lifetime membership was on sale for $19.99, marked down from $34.95.  At 5% off every order, it didn't take long to get that back, plus returns are easy and they pay the shipping.

I also like Bushtukah in Ottawa - whenever I've ordered from them they usually have it packed up in an hour or two and on it's way quickly.  Of course it'a a straight run from Ottawa up the Valley to here, so the delivery is usually here in a couple of days.

MEC is OK, but not what it used to be.

That campsite has a good view both east and west, so you get both the sunset and the sunrise.  Plus, on the visit that produced the photo Bob posted, we were there on the night of the full moon, so got both moonrise and moonset as well.  It was impossible from inside the tent to tell when morning came, since there was bright moonlight all night and the sunrise and moonset pretty much coincided.

With regard to the actions of Ontario Parks and the new reservation system, or any other annoying screw-up, always bear in mind Hanlon's Razor:
