I've pretty much lost interest in most canoe tripping videos. They bore me. For me, they feel too long and spend too much time focusing on the minutia of each day. Not to mention most of the time the camera is pointed at someone's face instead of the country they are in. It has to be a pretty incredible trip, a great story or an engaging personality to get my attention. Frank Wolf trip videos have all this! Too bad he quit making them.
Still, every now and then I will put a video out of my own. Mine are pretty much garbage and I don't usually have enough content to put together anything resembling a story. Mostly I make them because its a fun creative outlet and I like looking back on them. I have a couple of trips from the last 2 years that I will open, tinker with for a bit and then close LOL! I might put one out for a Wabakimi trip this winter.Frank's trip partner from his recent northern trip put out a 2 part series. Short and sweet, featuring the great humour of Frank.
Thank you! Only Frank would do a trip like that. No need to fly into the Hood River, paddle hundreds of kilometres upstream and overland to get there. Can't afford a flight out after Wilberforce Falls? Continue along the Northwest Passage to Kugluqtuk! Also love how calm he was with that grizzly bear.

Interesting, thanks for the info. Do you have any campsite recommendations on Radiant for early June?
You can't go wrong with site 4 or Site 9

Major road runs along the south side of the lake. Natives pretty much permanently have trailers in the old Odenback Station area where there is a spot to launch a boat. Still one of my favorite lakes in the park.

I think you've got your work cut out for you. That's a long day! In the spring, Beaver dams and Alder are not an issue downstream of Shah Lake. You can also run the 120 before Shippagew. The point campsite on Shah is a beaut.

Close enough. This is the Amable du Fond between the 320 and 290 before it flows into Kiosk. You are up Rob!

Great trip report Bampot! The Gordon lake portion doesn't interest me. Has anyone tried travelling Rock Creek downstream of the Gordon Portage?

Running low in Name clues! This photo was taken from a named bay in this Lake. Also an edit to my earlier clue that this lake is named after a place. Technically it's named after 2 places.

Getting closer! This Lake is named after a place.
Also has more syllables than Kiosk or Cedar, means more than 2 syllables.
