Oh i'll check out the canteen.   And a plastic growler is a good idea too.  I might be able to find them on Kijiji or Facebook.

Half way through season 1 right now  Really enjoying it.  You guys have done an excellent job filming and editing the episodes.

Mark was pretty good too.

We went through grassy bay a few years back.  If i remember correctly, we had to get over a pile of beaver damns from McIntosh Marsh to Grassy Bay.

I knew you use to be able to get Miller MGD's in plastic bottles.  Is that still a thing?  are there any craft brewers doing pastic bottles in Ontario?

With the park now open, im starting to plan my next canooe trip. I'm thinking of a trip from Rain Lake To Canoe Lake.  There are a few ways to get there, so i'm just wondering if anyone here has done this route and might have some suggestions.

We'll probably do it in 3-4 nights.

Thanks

Hmm really didn't see this coming but i guess it makes sense.

Starting Friday, April 3rd the ban applies to all cottages, private and commercial properties. That includes use of an outdoor fire grate, fire place or fire pit.

We took an early fall canoe trip to access for last September.   Overall it was a nice relaxing trip with the family.

It was my daughters FIRST trip to the park!

Having a new baby didn't stop us.  In all, she did 4 backcountry trips this summer.

Here's a video of one of our trips this year.  This is at Wildwood Conservation Area near St Catherines.  It's a nice "backcountry" experience in the middle of Southern Ontario.

Later in the summer we did two trips to Algonquin.
