It is not North Cuckoo nor Pretty Lake.
The lone campsite on this lake is on the portage that was just completed (It is just behind this photo)

Gerald Lake?

Not Gerald Lake.  I had to look up where that one was too!
Gerald is closer to this lake's neighbourhood, though.

Little Eagle?

It is not Little Eagle lake.  One can move through this lake using an official marked and less frequently maintained  portage both in and out.

This lake is further east than most guesses.

It is not Bridle (I had to look up where that was), Pezheki, nor Hemlock.
It is not in the Pezheki/Pugawagun area, but is North of Highway 60.

There is a single campsite on the lake

Way off the closest guess but it reminds me of the area around the 75m portage between the eastern point of North River Lake and the North River as it heads east over to Allan Lake.

You are correct, Peek!  This is the southern campsite on Plumb Lake.

Interesting - I've never been there (It's on the list) but that site looks so damn familiar I could have sworn I have.

A few of the have campsites that I'm familiar with that, when mentioned, I thought to myself "Yeah, I definitely see the resemblance!".  Plumb doesn't have a monopoly on gentle sloping site on a point with a few rocks scattered about, it seems...

This lake is not Merchant nor Shippagew.  Shippagew has the same number of campsites marked on the map as this lake though (2).

Burnt Island Lake is getting farther away compared to La Muir.
This lake is far smaller than Burnt Island and La Muir.

It is not Lake La Muir.
La Muir is the closest guess so far.  We travelled from this place to La Muir within a (comfortable) day of travel this past summer.

It is not Three Mile.
I believe the closest guess so far is Happy Isle, though it'd take me a couple of days (I travel slow) to get to this lake from there...
