I know  this water OK to consume but they need to work on their presentation LOL!. I would hesitate to fill a bottle if I came across this . Doesn't scream "drink me!" at first glance .We kind of searched for it last fall when we were there but didn't find it. We didn't look overly hard for it however .

Its quite a ways down the trail to the left of the cabin (view from water).
I was tripping with Swede when i took this photo, and he told me to walk to the left of the cabin to find it, at first I thought he was messing with me, didn't realize how far I had to go.
I have used most of the springs in the park labelled on jeffs map and the water here was better than lots of others... there was absolutely no sediment as long as you were careful when filling

Awesome. Will stop in for some next time! Thanks for the tip.

Will you be acessing from Ayalen lake?? I went as far as Robitaille  a few years back solo. Tho two portages were tough slogs FYI. Beautifull area though and not a soul around.  Get directions to park from the marina. Will save time paddling up Aylen.  Tough on a windy day.

On Meanest Link Leg from Opeongo to Oxtongue . Received a FB message while on Sunday lake with the  invite if we made it that far.  Opeongo to Source just after supper. They even fed us! .Next morning left Pathfinder dock around 530am and were sitting having breakfast at Canoe lake Restaurant Just after 8am. Hit Oxtongue Dock at AO Just before 6pm. Carried gear and food all the way and barely used anything LOL! Not the most traditional  trip but was great  nonethless.
