    Loonskin Lake

    I'm thinking about visiting Loonskin Lake this spring. Has anyone been there? I would be going in from Barron Lake. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Beautiful Lake - do it!

    I found the best of the three campsites was the middle one.

    Don't expect to swim though, following my night there I renamed it 'Leechskin Lake' as I had to pull 5 or 6 of them off my shoes when unloaded the canoe at the campsite.

    Very scenic, very remote. Great lake to visit.
