No right guesses so far.

The remaining hints on this thread will all be links with previous guesses.

Like Linda, Upper Kawa and Skuce, this lake's drainage basin does not contain any other waterbodies that are on canoe routes.

Whitebirch it is! Photo taken on the Saturday evening of August long weekend 2007, when surprisingly I had the lake to myself... but only up until taking that photo. As I paddled back to the campsite with the sun now below the horizon another group showed up at the portage landing at the north end of the lake, which is only a couple of hours from Kiosk... I couldn't imagine how they'd even been granted permits late enough in the day to be arriving there after dark.
