Where in Algonquin #61

It may be a breach of etiquette, but there has been no activity in #60 for a long time, so I'm gonna go ahead and post something. If it's taboo, the moderator can take it down.

Where is it?

100 views, no guesses!
Hint 1: it is not an official campsite, but certainly used to be, and makes a great picnic site.

Re: Where in Algonquin #61

Yeah, Big Trout south side, the point just west of the Otterslide bay area. There is an official site nearby, just to the west, connected by footpath. You can see the prominent rock face on the northeast side of Big Trout on the horizon right side. Thought it would be a giveaway.

If you follow Jason Irwin's videos on Vimeo, (and if you don't, you should; they're pretty amazingly filmed and edited), this is where he was forced to stop in high winds, put away the hammock,  and *gasp* sleep on the ground!
Check the Big Trout video.

I really love this spot. it has a very nice feeling to it. Opposite of those creepy sites mentioned in the "bad vibe" thread.

Martin, you're up, unless #60 has had new life breathed into it...
