fallout shelter algonquin ?

I have been looking over jeff's map recently and noticed that there is apparently a cold war era fallout shelter in the park has anyone been to it or know more about it. I find it extremely interesting and would love to learn more about it.

Re: fallout shelter algonquin ?

I would assume you are referring to the Lake Travers Station.  There is some discussion here http://www.thedailyobserver.ca/2010/09/17/bears-deer-bugs    It sounds like the fallout shelter was built above ground and then covered with dirt.    I've been to that spot on a number of occasions and there are no man made structures visible, apart from the old railroad roadbed.
