Tim Access Point to Devine Lake

Is the Tim Access Point to Devine Lake doable in one day? On Jeff's Map it's about 25 KM, which as far as distances go seems fine, but I don't know how much time the Tim River is actually going to take. Anyone done this before?

Re: Tim Access Point to Devine Lake

Hey Drew,

Totally do-able in one day, just a lot of in and out of the canoe on the small portages. I came through that way from Tim R. once and it was so rough getting through stag to devine, not sure if that's been fixed up or not. EIther way Devine is an interesting place, the island is really hollowed out in the middle.

Going by what you've done in the past it should be peaches and cake. Portages were cleared in 2014 and if you're going from Stag to the Tim, that portage was nicely signed so you don't get confused where to go along the way.
