Re: Where in Algonquin? No.187

Maybe a hint as to which type adjective to look for in the lake name? Size such as big, little, etc? Location such as north, east, south, west or upper, lower?

Re: Where in Algonquin? No.187

Not Pearley or North Tea.

If i say which adjective to look for, it will be too obvious.

But in addition to the previous hints (North of 60, North of Big Trout) you can access this lake in a day from 2 access points, but one of them makes for a pretty long day - still do-able.

I can say that you'd be wasting your time fishing this medium-sized lake. (Or at least this is what I've been told by everyone who has tried to fish it.. Lol so maybe it is worth it??)

There are other lakes with the same name, albeit not identical.

☝️This guy internets!

Yup. Maple Lake, moments after emerging from Erables Lake.

You're up, Ash!

Edit: The iterations being the name. Maple Lake, Erables Lake (Maple), Maple Leaf Lake

The last hint gave it to me - 'access L in a day via the 2 gates'...

Great pic BTW!  I'll follow suit with a pic with nice clouds...
