I'm giving it to Andrew - when I selected this photo I was positive it was Cauliflower Creek, but when I looked at the Satellite images to give it's precise location, turns out it was the South Madawaska River, a few hundred meters passed the portage from Cauliflower Creek.

It looks to me to be the narrows on Rain Lake. If so there is a abandoned railroad embankment along the right hand side.
