Feature Video Of My Trip

A 40 minute video on the recent 12 day trip I did with my 10 year old son in Algonquin. For anyone who enjoys seeing lots of big brook trout, you'll probably like this video.
It was made intentionally vague. If anything thinks they know where I was, for the love of God keep it to yourself.

Thanks Martin! We ate well for sure. Can tell you one thing though. NEVER again will I bring Cliff bars. They're heavy and disgustingly gross. I found out on the trip they're also flammable LOL! Both my son and I couldn't eat them.

Amazing video. Very nice to see that your son can experience that. I had my fair share at that age and its still with me today. Those memories last a lifetime.
I hope to get into the barron river in a couple weeks. Dont think ther's much brook trout there though..

Re: Feature Video Of My Trip

Excellent video. Great job of incorporating some good tips in terms of technique, keeping the audience on top of what you're doing, and still capturing the excitement of camping/fishing with a kid.

A friend of mine on Facebook shared the following article tonight.

I sure hope nothing happens with this and that the lake's location remains a secret.

Re: Feature Video Of My Trip

That's amazing!  So awesome you are doing that with your little man.  I grew up doing canoe trips into Algonquin with my dad and we have such a strong bond because of it.  We still trip in the park together 40 years later and I now have the pleasure of introducing my young guy (who's also 10) to all the glory of Algonquin.  Thanks for the awesome video!
