We did these in our trip from kiosk to Kingscote last year going la Muir to merchants. Small log bridge washed out on the first portage, had to paddle around the small creek. All of these portages were quite flooded and mucky due to heavy rains the day before. Blow downs as well but none so bad that the path was lost. Mostly flat otherwise through heavy deciduous.

Put it this way -- I wouldn't bring kids through there, and I'd be sure to have good high-cut footwear.
