Trippy this spot looks so familiar I feel like I'll slap my head and say Doh! As soon as someone guesses it...

Stab in the complete dark.. (based on your Smiley in Trippers guess of Merchant)
Happy Isle?

Nope! But at least I'm happy that it's not as easy a guess as I thought it would be

The smile was just because it was my second time saying nope to him, wasn't meant to be a clue.

But here's a very minor clue...

It's very far from Happy Isle, even farther from Merchant, and farthest from Dickson (if only by a small margin)

Not Burnt Island

It's south of all the guesses so far

No idea, so since it’s rocks, Rock Lake?

Not Rock.

Another clue; I'm looking out from a campsite, but I had to push through some bushes/trees beside the landing to get to this exact spot. Also I'm looking southeast.

Time to slap your head and say Doh!

It's the site at the tip of the peninsula on the west shore of Welcome. You can see the big beach from the eastern site in the distance.

I actually used this picture in a trip report, good thing no one thought to reverse image search... http://www.myccr.com/phpbbforum/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=44208
