This is more of a wild guess, but the south end of Big Porcupine L?  Seem to remember the island there has rocks creeping into the water...

Damn, this is the first time in a long time that I've actually known the answer and I was too late. http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/sad.png

 I took a bunch of pictures of that tree/rock when I was up that way. Something about it just looks awesome.

@ Drew - Yah man, same here. I've paddled past this treerock a solid half dozen times and can't help myself, I MUST take a photo (from a few angles) every time.. it's just so strange in an awesome kind of way.
